An engineered wood material created by taking wood shavings, sawdust, and other wood remainders and bonding them with resin, mainly used in economy furniture.
Particleboard is a lightweight wood material used in mass-produced furniture because it is easy to make uniform and cut to any size. It is considered a sustainable material since it uses unused wood fibers and remainders to create this product. Despite that it is labeled an “engineered wood” or a “wood product”, it does not have the same durability as solid wood but can be manufactured to have the wood veneer.
