A rotating disc, usually circular, that revolves on a pivot to move the position of objects placed on it. This also describes a type of cabinet that uses this pivoting mechanism to move items on the rotating shelf.

Lazy Susan cabinets allow users to maximize the storage of cabinet space by using a turntable to move items to the back without straining to reach that area. It is an L-shaped corner cabinet incorporated into the rest of your base cabinetry. There are two main types of Lazy Susan Cabinets: One has a rotating disc mounted on the bottom cabinet panels; the other example is a corner cabinet with tiered shelves on a three-quarter disc mounted to a swiveling pole.
