A mirror that is backlit with an LED light to provide gentle, but bright illumination in the bathroom and on your face.

LED mirrors are framed mirrors that have a strip of LED light around the exterior of the frame. The light is diffused behind frosted glass to keep the illumination but reduce the direct intensity. LEDs do not produce heat and are efficient enough light sources that you can save energy using them as the only light, depending on your bathroom. They are usually blue-tinted light closer to daylight rather than warm-tinted light of daylight. These have been replacing fluorescents in current bathrooms remodeling projects.
