An engineered wood material created by taking recycled paper and other wood remainders pressed together with heat and pressure to form thin sheets of sturdy, dense material.
Pressboard is often confused for particleboard and while they are made using similar methods of heat and pressure, the material is not strong enough to become an engineered wood panel. However, pressboard is often included as decorative panels that don’t require supporting the furniture structure, like the backs of cube organizers or older television sets.
